We constantly review our Operations and our WHSE Management System to ensure we adhere to legislative requirements and industry standards. We employ work health & safety professionals and crane industry experts to ensure we maintain the best safety standards.

The directors of United Cranes & Rigging have approved a Health & Safety Policy and an Environmental & Sustainability Policy. These policies set out the company’s commitment to continually improve outcomes in these respective areas.

Employee Training & Competency

United Cranes & Rigging employees are highly skilled. All Cranes Operators are fully qualified in the respective duties. Our crane operator undergo CICA Crew Safe Accreditation.

Plant and Equipment

All our plant & equipment is routinely inspected and where necessary tested in accordance with relevant Australian Standards to ensure it remains in optimal condition to reduce the likelihood of an incident caused by plant and equipment failure.

All our cranes undergo CICA Crane Safe Certification on an annual basis, and all our cranes have a QR code sticker so plant manual and records can be accessed on a mobile phone within seconds, 24/7.

All our plant and equipment is fully insured.

Risk Management

Our Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) and Standard Work Procedures (SWP’s) are developed in consultation with employees to ensure accuracy and engagement in the risk management approach.

Prior to commencing work, we assess each job to work through any potential hazards which may include site restrictions, power lines or limited crane setup areas.

We then methodically work through any issues with our clients to achieve maximum safety and minimum complications.
